CULTURAL EVENTS - PLATFORM FOR YOUNG TALENTS
Sarthavaha 2013 - A Cultural Fest was held between 19th and 20th September, 2013. Several colleges from Hubli-Dharwad and from other places including Mysore and Bangalore participated in the competitions.
In every special event such as Freshers Day,Farewell,Tourism day celebrations cultural programmes by students have been conducted in the Department.

TOURISM is most emerging sector of economy in India and also it is one of the most rapidly growing areas of creative and competitive commercial activity with huge potential of showcasing India’s multifaceted culture and cuisine to the travelling public-both indigenous and international and at the same time of generating vast employment opportunities in transport and hospitality sectors and of earning foreign exchange.
